Pink Lake HD

Unique, curing, unbelievably beautiful the Pink lake. The Ukrainian Dead Sea - that's how our touritsts have called it for a long time.

The Pink Lake is actualy not a proper lake but a tiny bay of a big lake Sivash. So, its shallow has such a bright pink colour only in south Ukraine, Herson Oblast, a small village of Grygorovka as the nearest place to get. The water of Pink Lake has a huge density of salt in it so you can lie on its surface like on a deck chair.

The minerals in this part of the lake lake as affirmed by scientists began to accumulate at the prehistoric period. There's a myth about well-known Lemuria country, saying it existed right at this place.

The concentration of the salt in the Pink Lake is much higher than it's in the Israeli Dead Sea. The pink colour is provided by a unique bacterium which produces the youth vitamin keratin. So people come here not just to take pictures but to cure. Skin, joints, nervous system are just the beginning of the list... You can get to village Grygorovka from district center Kahovka by car. Keep in mind that the road is rather difficult - should admit our problems with roads. So, it's strongly recommended to set off early in the morning. Plan your Tour de Ukraine!
